Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 8, 2024
I’ve got a quick update for you on the project matrix that I created for the business. I have been working the board and have almost completely cleared all of the high priority projects off the matrix. Yesterday I started photographing about 4-5 disparate boxes of random “good” stuff” like felt camp patches, OA, jamboree sets etc.
The last high priority project will start next week as I’m going to photograph all of my Camp Coker dupes with eyes on making a book or website (thanks Tripp Clark) that will show all the issues. It’s been a long time since I’ve worked on any type of book project and that’s why this one has been on the extreme back burner.
I have 137 live auctions running on eBay this week including many nice World Jamboree pieces. In addition I just launched a broad sale in my store that has over 18k items.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
